The Pantograph

The Pantograph is an instrument commonly used for copying a drawing or plan on a different scale by a system of hinged and jointed rods. As contradicting as this instrument is in the field of Journalism, the term was especially hand-picked by the paper’s editor-in-chief in line with the principles of the organization which is to duplicate any information in the absence of excess nor deficiency.

The Pantograph Press was officially launched to the public on September 18, 2016 as a student-run news website endowed with the goal of informing the public of news in and beyond the University of Santo Tomas without fear nor favor. This online publication, driven by college students, is inclined to spark change in the society by pressing both political and cultural issues desperate of attention and a call for action from the general.

The Pantograph Press staff is and will always be strongly devoted in providing news without fear nor favor so as to allow freedom among the masses in making a stand on important social issues.
