The four-day exam consisted of eight subjects - Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics.

Bar operations and fraternities from different schools gathered outside UST to support the bar candidates, who were able to enter the university before 8 A.M.

Volunteers from the UST Law Bar Operations waited outside the university and catered the needs of Thomasian bar examinees.

“Ang problema natin yung fixed na taong magbabantay o magvo-volunteer from Civil Law. This year, nagdagdag tayo ng officers and fixed members para maraming sure na pupunta,” said UST Law Bar Operations Chairperson Maximillan Jean Perola.

The system was going well so far, Perola claimed. In light of the bar exams, police enforced tight security in the vicinity of UST, where they imposed a liquor ban from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. on the four Sundays of November.

UST is hosting the bar exams for the sixth consecutive year.###
